I’d like to thank you for visiting my portfolio, where I can freely showcase my knowledge and some of my work to you. For some background, I have been programming since 2015 when I started learning C++ through an online course to learn Game Development. After finishing that online course I still had more to learn and was curious about other things, so I pivoted to Website Development where I followed the path of learning HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP, in that order before learning more broadly about Software Development. Since then I have added many development tools to my arsenal as you will soon discover.

This portfolio webpage will be steadily changing to showcase my work and to share updated information about me. For those who are adventurous there are some interactive Easter eggs on the page for you, if you can find them.It is a goal of mine to effectively communicate my current expertise in Software Development, and the journey that has lead me here.

I work at ZS Associates as a Software Engineer. In this environment, everyone is treated as a consultant, and I am gaining knowledge in consulting and company management.

ZS Associates offers management consulting services in healthcare, private equity, and technology. Headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, the company expanded services to include healthcare software development by acquiring Medullan Inc. and expanding into countries like Jamaica.

Jamaica Electronic Agriculture Trade (JaEAT): A Digital Platform for farmers to upload their produce for sale.

St. Mary High School Website: An online resource for students and teachers, with the ability to create users who can upload things to a public notice board, create articles, and upload files like past papers for students.

I decided to start my Computing Degree at the University of Technology. Admittedly, subjects that involved programming, such as Programming 1, Programming 2, Object-Oriented Programming, and Data Structures, come easily to me. Subjects that are less programming-focused were also fine for the most part. Nevertheless, I excel in my studies and do not allow my coursework to impede my self-education.

I learned a lot along the way, completed the course, and was awarded a Bsc. in Computing with a Major in Computer Science; and acheived Upper Second Class Honours.

2012 - 2018

My secondary education took place at St. Mary High School, where I completed Grades Seven to Eleven and took the Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC) Exams. During this time, I studied diverse subjects including Technical Drawing, Electricity, Information Technology, Physics, and Mathematics.

Upon completion of Grade Eleven, I progressed to Sixth Form where I delved into advanced subjects such as Pure Mathematics and Computer Science. It was in this academic setting that I was introduced to C Programming, although I already possessed proficiency in C++ at that juncture, making the transition near seamless.
